Ready for Mexico Open – First Tee Day

First Tee México is an organization that as of today collaborates with 9 golf courses around the country:
1.- Las Maravillas Escuela de Golf Puebla
2.- Puerta Cortés Golf Club
3.- Cub de Golf Marina Vallarta
4.- El Tinto Campo de Golf
5.- Club de Golf el Copal
6.- Colegio de México Nuevo Campus Puebla
7.- Gran Coyote Golf
8.- Tee Zone Driving Range
9.- Diamante Cabo San Lucas

Our efforts throughout these 4 years have enabled youths from the area to learn and enjoy the benefits of golf. As president of the organization, Agustín (Augie) Pizá is thrilled that Vidanta Vallarta will host this year’s Mexico Open, in an alliance between Grupo Salinas, Grupo Vidanta, PGA Tour, and, of course, First Tee México.

The PGA TOUR tournament will take place at the facility for the next three years, and with it, the tournament’s name will change to the Mexico Open at Vidanta.

Since 2017, First Tee México has positively impacted more than 300 girls, boys, and young people in underprivileged situations, with the help of golf. That is why, every Tuesday during this tournament, the Mexico Championship will celebrate “First Tee Day,” where 20 kids will get the opportunity to meet players from the PGA Tour as part of a unique, fun, and inspirational experience.
