COURSE DEFINING

CREATIVITY

At Pizá Golf®, we push the craft of golf course design, demanding more from ourselves on behalf of our clients. We bring each new site to life with velvet greens, coarse sands, towering pines, and strategic twists.

Since 2006, we have sculpted award-winning golf courses from mountain, desert, valley, and jungle, designing elegant challenges that invigorate players and live in harmony with the land.

We are artists, and our medium is the natural world. We create innovative golf course designs in a range of climates and elevations by fusing artistic curiosity and ecological sensitivity with strategic gameplay.

Under the leadership of Agustín Pizá, Pizá Golf® have been involved in more than eighty unique projects across three continents—from elite private clubs to five-star resorts and destination golf communities.

Agustín is a pioneering force in modern golf course architecture—and the visionary behind original concepts like WellnessGolf®, Multipurpose Golf, and Butterfly Golf® that deepen the player’s connection with rhythm, nature, and the spirit of the game.

He earned a Master’s of Science in Golf Course Architecture from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Architecture from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico. Mr. Pizá is a member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA), the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA), and The American Institute of Architects (AIA).

A golf course is a living being.

We carve each one from the earth with reverence for coastal grasses, wind-sculpted trees, and ancient cacti stands that have called the land home for generations.

Each design is guided by the principles of rhythm, balance, movement, and harmony — shaped not only for the joy of the game, but for the long-term success of the communities, resorts, and landscapes we serve.

From individual holes to master-planned destinations, we collaborate across disciplines — from architecture and agronomy to ecology and engineering — to create immersive golf environments that honor the land and inspire play.

What we leave out is as vital as what we weave in. Our commitment to balanced density and environmental integrity ensures that every course preserves open space for nature and its inhabitants, blending artistry with ecological intention.

Golf Architecture is one of the most extensive forms of artistic expressions known to mankind
